Poems from Irene Davis
All of it is the same
Round and round apart of this game,
Play by the rules
And you'll get fooled,
Don't you dare utter her name.
I write I write I write
Someone save this world from blight.
But yes, I dont really know how to swim
Though I really need to win.
Some say...
How dare you, go to the movies with him
How dare you utter his name.
How dare you ask me for advice
When you know I didn't think twice...
Sometimes feelings fade into clouds of sorrow
And how I wish I wasnt brave
Enough to face the truth,
Which will always haunt me
When you...
I watch the ocean, reckless and vast,
Patient and calm it makes me,
But why?
Why does something so harsh,
Make me feel so alive.
